is the Dog of the Year Competition?

A Test of Excellence

The QWCDTAI Dog of the Year competition recognizes the finest working cattle dogs. Points are earned through stellar performances in affiliated trials across the year.

Queensland Dog of the Year points accumulate for first to sixth placing (Novice and Open) at all affiliated trials for 1 July to 30 June each year. (previous to 2013/14 this was from 1 June to 31 May each year).
