Registering your dog and securing your prefix with QWCDTAI opens the door to:

Key Registration Rules & Eligibility

Membership Required: Registration with QWCDTAI is a member privilege. Ensure your membership is current before proceeding.

Trial Requirement: All dogs competing in QWCDTAI trials must be registered. A one (1) season grace period is allowed for newly started dogs. If a dog places 1st–6th in an Open or Novice trial during this grace period, it must be registered immediately.

Classification: Our registry maintains breed integrity and trial standards through two key classifications:

  • Bloodline Register (BLR): Requires three (3) generations of known bloodlines (if not trialled).
  • Trialled Register (TDR): For all dogs that are trialled.

Prefix registration

Option 1

$25.00.

Prefix application is a QWCDTAI member privilege. Its a once off registration to secure your breeders Prefix within our association. You will receive a certificate for your prefix

Dog registration

Option 2

$10.00.

10.00 per dog ( once only fee)

Dog registration owner transfers

Option 3

$5.00.

00

This option is available for individual's who are interested in changing a QWCDTAI registered dogs details into their name following a purchase. (This option is free for members is only requiring a database update - if you require a printed out hardcopy for your records the $5 fee apply's)

How to Register Your Dog & Apply for Your Prefix

A Simple and Straightforward Process

  1. 1Ensure your QWCDTAI membership is current.
  2. 2Choose your registration method:
    • Manual: Download the registration or prefix application form, complete it, and submit as instructed.
  3. 3Submit payment along with your application to our registrar in person at an event or via post.
